The truth of the matter is this: we are going to fall short of our personal expectations; to ‘be a better person’ and have all those nagging ungodly characteristics that seem to plague our expectations of pleasing our Heavenly Father. Although we are Born Again by the Spirit of God, we continue to carry our sin nature until we are called upward to heaven where sin is no more. In the mean time, confess your sin and continue to place your trust in Christ; the author and perfector of our faith.

“Bring your confession and return to the LORD. Say to him, “forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.”
