When we try to find an answer to a dilemma or problem we face, we first have to know the issue at hand, in its fullness, in order to begin the process of finding a remedy to that particular challenge. In gaining understanding of the reason Christ came to earth to die for the sins of mankind, we obtain clarity as to where we stand in the sight of God; knowing that the sacrifice of Christ on the cross was the only way that we could be pardoned in the courts of heaven and made right in God’s sight.
