Not Perfect

Some people have this idea that becoming a follower of Jesus Christ enables one to achieve a life free from old ways of thinking, bad attitudes, negative behaviors, and aspects of our lives that we wish never existed. The truth of the matter is this; once someone begins a journey of a life in Christ, the process of sanctification is set in motion, giving the believer progress toward a life free from sin and the old way of life. It is a life-long process that is progressive through the work of the Holy Spirit in one’s life. As the saying goes; not perfect but forgiven and set free!

The truth of God’s Word to reflect on:

“If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” 1 John 1:9

  1. You’re not supposed to follow Jesus. Jesus is not TMH. I see many people worship idols, and deities. Jesus is no different because y’all have placed him on a throne as if he is the creator. We all are children of the creator.

    1. Hi, and thank you for your comment.
You mentioned some of your ideas in your response but as a Follower of Jesus Christ, I have no doubt that Jesus certainly is placed at the right hand of God. Ephesians 1:21 reminds us that Jesus is seated above all principalities and power. And the Bible tells us that ANYTHING that we place in our lives before God is an idol.
I hope this helps you as you seek the One True God.
