Mercy is depicted throughout the Bible as God’s choice to give man a second chance through forgiveness and kindness that man truly doesn’t deserve. Many times in the Old Testament, rebellious acts against a Holy God resulted in God expressing mercy and withholding due punishment because of his loving kindness toward his prized creation. Remember God’s great love toward you today, when you fall short of hitting the bullseye.
