As we continually take refuge in our Lord God and put our faith and trust with our lives in his hands, he will consistently express his unfailing love and compassion to those who believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Over time, our hearts become aliened with his, and we ultimately become more-and-more like Christ and express the attributes of the righteousness that has been imputed to us. God recognizes the change of heart that reflects his love.
