Retaliation, payback, getting even; this is what the world portrays on a daily basis. People not getting along with others and having the need to be the victor and have control over someone else because they don’t agree on one topic or another. Jesus taught his followers to take a different stance toward those who may come against you for one reason or another. His instruction could certainly spread more love and compassion throughout the world.
