What is it that you strive for everyday you wake up and are given the breath of life by God each day. Both the Old Testament narratives given by God and the Words of Jesus in the New Testament makes it clear as to what our priority should be as we live this life; placing God first and foremost above all else. We need money and finances to further the Gospel, care for our family, and give to our neighbors in need. We must always keep in mind that we can’t allow our finances to take the place of the one who ultimately provides.

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Matthew 6:24
