In the Book of Genesis, the fall of man is depicted and simply clarified as separation from a Holy God. Adam and Eve had close fellowship with God until they rebelled and disobeyed God’s instruction. God was aware of what had taken place, after all he is all knowing, but he wanted the first couple to come to him with a repentant heart. Just as God is aware of our faults, failures, and sins, know that you are in right standing with a gracious and forgiving God when you choose to confess and repent.
