There are many passages in the Bible that give us a glimpse of what life will be like when we leave this earth. Heaven and Hell are mentioned to inform us of the finality of each person’s choice to either accept the free gift of salvation by the shed blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, or those who do not accept the free gift, and are eternally separated from Creator God for eternity. Believers in Christ have a lot to look forward to.

“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.”
