Many people around the world will be exposed to the outcomes of the past year, by way of stories, video, and social media, in an attempt to remember all that has taken place within the past twelve months as the page of our calendar exposes a brand new year. It can be easy to identify our own situations and how our personal life was effected by situations and circumstances that we may or may not have had much control over. Whether you reflect on triumphs or disappointments, achievements or failures, you will always have something to look back on, even if it took place 364 days ago, last week, or the last five minutes. The challenge I present to you today and every day is to recall what the LORD God has done for you in your life. You can begin by acknowledging the breath of life that he has given you up until this very moment you are reading this. Remember God has been available to you every moment of every day, seeking a personal, intimate, and lasting relationship with you. Begin or continue your connection today and every day.
The truth of God’s Word to reflect on:
“I remember the days of old. I ponder all your great works and think about what you have done.” Psalm 144:5
